Are you ready for another year of fun and learning at Westridge Golf Club? The Junior Golf Program is coming back and will be in full swing for the 2008 season! We have instruction and fun for young golfers from ages 4 through 17, and we look forward to another year of teaching etiquette, rules, grip, stance and the swing to our future touring pros.
The initial Junior Golf Camp will be held June 11th - 14th, 2008. Camp duration will be 4 days and cover all aspects of the game of golf, including safety and rules, to prepare each junior for the upcoming summer camps and league play.
The remainder of camps will be 1 day per week and occur every Tuesday throughout the summer. As the year progresses, the camps will vary and cater to the improvements of the junior golfer. Juniors will be divided into three different skill levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Each level will ensure appropriate teaching and allow all participants to compete and learn with juniors of similar skill and age.
- Beginners golfers are ages 4 through 7 or those that have never played golf before.
- Intermediate golfers are able to consistently get the ball in the air and/or have had previous instruction.
- Advanced golfers are those that display the ability to hit the ball toward an intended target and have accurate knowledge of etiquette, rules, and the swing. In addition, advanced golfers may have had previous instruction and have played in competitions against other juniors.
We look forward to another year of Junior Golf at WGC and teaching the game of golf to your young Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, or Michelle Wie!

- AMAZING DEAL! Enrolled students can play Westridge Golf Club at no charge with a parent Monday - Friday after league play is complete and Saturday – Sunday after 4:30 P.M. Accompanying Parent pays $10 to walk and $15 to ride. Please make reservations in advance.
- End of the Year Tournament: $20 Entry Fee, (if not signed up for 4 weeks or more program) includes playing, lunch, soda, awards, prizes, and loads of fun for juniors and parents.
- This year we are asking any parents that are willing and able to volunteer to lead a group in the tournament. This would include: keeping score, helping the juniors with any rules questions, and ensuring the safety of the group. We appreciate any help that you are able to provide and look forward to working with your child(ren) throughout the 2008 golf season.
